Hotfix 1.0.2: released on all platforms

The September 30 Steam announcement ↗ confirms release on all platforms. This supersedes the earlier September release targets.

  • Co-op fixes cover Quickplay, joining, client progression, damage, parrying and revives. Lore Scrolls can now be collected by the second player.
  • Save overwriting defaults to No, and fixes address unlocks and run information carrying between save files.
  • Named Boon and Weapon Art fixes include Angelic Bulwark, Brewmaster, Aftershock Technique, Avenging Pestilence, Shield of Many, Pyromancer and Impaling Throw.
  • Steam Deck controls, UI, desync and performance fixes are reported; these are not an FPS guarantee.
  • A new setting enables automatic Gold pickup. Status information is clearer for Rage, Poisoned, Freeze, Marked and Sundered.

Save precautions still matter after 1.0.2

The developer says some remaining save issues occur when moving between devices. Avoid switching devices with the same save for now; PC players may also keep a local backup. Save handling is planned for further rework in Patch 1.1. The patch does not mean all progression loss is resolved.

Patch 1.1 and new content: plans, not released

The October 2 developer letter ↗ names Patch 1.1 as the next update and teases work-in-progress content. The September 30 notes target October for 1.1, with save handling, gear, Blacksmith, Boon information, progression visibility, control remapping and co-op work. No released 1.1 build or new-content date is established by these posts.
