Crimson Moon supports solo play and two-player online co-op. Dynamic difficulty and enemy composition are designed to adapt missions for the party.
Current co-op note
Official materials confirm solo play and two-player online co-op. The 1.0.2 notes now explicitly document Xbox crossplay friend requests and an associated fix; see the crossplay guide for the evidence and remaining platform-pair verification limits.
1.0.2 co-op changes
Official notes report Quickplay, invitations, client progression, parry and revive fixes, and second-player Lore Scroll collection. Check cross-platform invitation guidance if a friend request is missing.
Save precautions still matter after 1.0.2
The developer says some remaining save issues occur when moving between devices. Avoid switching devices with the same save for now; PC players may also keep a local backup. Save handling is planned for further rework in Patch 1.1. The patch does not mean all progression loss is resolved.
